Hegel Reading Group was born in Oxford in 2013. It now takes place in Clermont-Ferrand (France).
It wants to be an informal community of researchers at different stages of their careers that organizes reading groups and workshops on Hegel’s works. The aim of this initiative is to bring together people interested in German Idealism and to improve the dialogue between the history of philosophy and the contemporary debate.
The Reading Group is open to graduate students, faculty members and anyone else interested in German Idealism and the history of philosophy. In addition, those with a background in analytic philosophy, Theory of Knowledge or Practical Philosophy, are very welcome to contribute to the discussion.
Organizer: Dr Lucia Ziglioli
